Suggestion - prepared hyacinths for Christmas

Typically Anna Marie prepared hyacinths only need 8-weeks in a cool place followed by 18 days in doors to bloom, suggested planting date 12th October to be ready for Christmas.

If you have sensitive skin you might want to wear gloves when handling hyacinths as they can cause skin irritation.

Snake's Head Fritillary

Looking for something different - how about Snake's head fritillaries. Extremely hardy and enjoy the light shade of woodland. Planting suggestion in drifts under shrubs or amongst grass.

Hardy Cyclamen

Hardy Cyclamen should be planted early in shallow soil just 1 - 2 inches below the surface. Cyclamen are toxic so are not suitable if you have pets or curious children.
